“Get Up and Go” This Spring in Mystic

"Get Up and Go" This Spring In Mystic with the crew of The Whaler's Inn

Whaler’s Inn General Manager, Amanda, and Front Desk Associates,
Karen & Kristin crushed the Mystic Irish 5K on March 18th!

Spring has sprung, or so the calendar tells us (Mother Nature may have other plans), which means it’s time to stop hibernating and enjoy all that Mystic has to offer.  Taking a cue from Amanda, Karen, & Kristin, we’ve decided it’s time to “Get Up and Go” This Spring In Mystic.  Since there are a couple more months before the paddle boards and kayaks can be dusted off, hiking boots seem the way to go.

Here are a few of our favorite spots.

Peace Nature Sanctuary – Located here in downtown off River Road this forty-five-acre sanctuary, is these beautifully maintained trails featuring river views and native flora and fauna. (2 Miles Away)

Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center – Your $8 admission to the “DPNC” gives you access to 10 miles of woodland, wetland, and meadow habitats throughout the 300 acres.  (1.4 Miles Away)

Haley Farm/Bluff Point – Explore this scenic historic shoreline farm on bicycle or foot.  .8 miles of trails are intertwined on the farm itself or venture on to nearby Bluff Point.  The two parks combined offer over 1000 acres of land. (3.1 Miles away)

Lantern Hill – This 1.7 mile loop, located in nearby Ledyard, boasts breathtaking views and pops of wildflowers throughout.  (9.1 Miles away)
