Mystic’s Favorite Holiday Event

Enjoy “The Most Wonderful Time of Year in Mystic”, with the Holiday Lighted Boat Parade on November 24th.   Santa will be arriving in Downtown Mystic @ 2 pm on a one-horse open 60’ tugboat named “the John Paul”. Children with visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads will be awaiting Santa’s arrival in Mystic River Park. They can share Christmas dreams & wishes with Santa himself. Wonder at the splendor of the festive Christmas Tree lighting at 6 pm followed directly by the Annual Mystic Lighted Boat Parade. A fleet of lighted and decorated boats will set adrift on the Mystic River! Enjoy this breathtaking Christmas spectacular from either side of the river. The vessels are judged on creativity and team spirit. Prizes are offered for Most Charismatic Crew, Most Innovated Vessel, Best Dressed Vessel and Miss Mystic Vessel of Grandeur.
