The newest spot on our list has us converting to sustainable soaps and bath products. Luckily the Main Street Soap Emporium is just a couple of doors down from our East Main Street location. The charming displays, including a claw-foot bathtub full of bath bombs, call you from the street tempting you to treat yourself. But since this article is about holiday shopping, we should probably be encouraging you to put a dent in that mile-long list of gifts. With gifts for both men and women the Main Street Soap Emporium is a perfect spot for stocking stuffers, teacher’s gifts, or to sneak in a little something for yourself!
Tucked away on Holmes Street, Salt oozes a sense of warmth and calm. Handmade jewelry, beautiful greeting cards, and nautical home decor greet you as you enter this inspirational creative space. My go-to spot for greeting cards year-round, Salt offers a beautiful collection from a variety of artists. Salt is the perfect spot to pick up a little something for your favorite niece or even just a souvenir of your Mystic escape.

3. Spice and Tea Exchange of Mystic
For the foodie in your life, the “Spice and Tea Exchange of Mystic” will be sure to provide the perfect gift idea. Find spices, sugars, and rubs to complete your favorite recipes. Purchase a unique exotic tea for the tea lover in your life and pick up a pepper strong enough to clear your sinuses for the spice junkie. Although Spice and Tea Exchange stores are located throughout the country, the welcoming and knowledgeable staff invoke a warmth only a “mom and pop” shop exudes.

Formerly Radio Waves, Trove reopened last spring with a new look, new merchandise, and the same quirky personality. Any man in your life will feel like you’ve scoured hundreds of stores looking for the perfect gift, when in fact you’ve just made one stop at Trove. From record players to novelty books, to Mystic themed menswear, Trove is known as “Mystic’s Only Shop for Him”. If he’s a cocktail lover, you’ll find an array of tools and tricks to make the perfect libation.
